It was quiet, which mattered most to me, and the location was great. Service was good too. The rooms look a bit like they're from the 90s, but the equipment is fine.

The hosts were welcoming, and the rooms felt cozy and were clean. It's a private guesthouse in a peaceful part of České Budějovice, with a river nearby, though the city center is about a 25-minute walk. I noticed a slight dog smell from the hosts' dogs. Still, I'd recommend it.

We hadn't even unpacked our backpack before the arrogant staff kicked us out. I really can't recommend the place. I won't get into the gentleman's behavior, except that it reminded me of an angry Pepíček from the group :D
