I've stayed at this place twice now. It's a historic building in a pretty good location, and the staff are very helpful. Good value for money for a pension.

The host was friendly and made us feel welcome. The accommodation was spacious and clean, in a quiet spot, with a nice view of the local church. I'd recommend it.

For the lower price, the location and friendly staff are nice. But the room's size and equipment, along with its creaky bed and pillows that have lost their shape, don't live up to the 'deluxe' name. It wouldn't take much investment to make a real difference to the overall impression.

The guesthouse manager was kind and helpful, and email communication went smoothly. But we spent the night as two adults and two children and didn't sleep at all. Noise from the boiler room and heating went on all night. There's also mold on the wall by the window, with a high bathroom skylight that can't be opened. I wouldn't stay here again, especially after a night like that.

We were very happy with our stay, and it was good value for the money. The guesthouse was cozy and really nice, with nothing I could fault. We do a bike tour around Bohemia with friends every year, and this time we picked Český Brod and the surrounding area. We settled on where to stay within minutes, and I'm glad we did. I can recommend it.
