The host was very good to deal with. She had the heating on for our arrival and was very obliging when the weather led us to cut our stay to just 1 night. The town is an easy walk away, and parking was good.

They overbooked us and put us in a different hotel with a much lower standard.

It's a quiet, peaceful guesthouse on a hill, a short distance from the historic center. The place was very clean and well maintained, and our room was large. The internet didn't work, and the heating was turned off on our last night.

We wished our travel schedule had left us more time here. The room was large and cozy, with a bedroom whose windows looked out at the sky and a fully equipped kitchen, even including a wood-burning stove. Everything was fresh and clean, the grounds were well kept, and there was a private gazebo where we could look at the stars over tea. Special thanks to the hostess for such a warm welcome and a truly sad farewell. Parking on the street beside the house was easy, and the center of Krumlov is a leisurely 10-minute walk away. I wouldn't recommend the place, in case I needed to go and it was already booked.
