The family who run this guesthouse were warm and welcoming, and took time to tell us about the house's history. That made our stay feel especially memorable. The building is historic but full of charm, and the location is very convenient, with lovely restaurants and bars close by. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again if we get back to Český Krumlov. Thank you for the hospitality!

This was the worst hotel stay we've ever had. There was no heating, we were cold, and the staff didn't seem to care. They only seemed interested in getting paid. Staff, including the owner, were below business standards. Breakfast was served by staff in winter jackets, and the food selection was very limited. The price was high for such poor service and attitude. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with good business manners.

I came looking for the Bali Pani restaurant because I'd read that it had a long history and still kept its medieval appearance. It wasn't operating when I was there, though. The place had become a hotel, and the restaurant had changed into an Indian restaurant.
