For me, the essentials in the Czech Republic are a comfortable bed and a quiet location. The people at the pension were very friendly and helpful, and there was a rain shower. It wasn't expensive either.

The host was very friendly and attentive. The place was clean and tidy, and it's quiet there while still being just a short way from Cheb.

Pension Mašek is ideally placed for getting out into nature, whether on foot or by bike. The hosts gave us useful tips, and each room has a booklet listing cafes, museums, restaurants, and more. You can see how much they care about making guests feel at home. We stayed for two nights and were delighted with the warm welcome and hospitality from the owners. Our room was clean, cozy, and charmingly decorated. We had a wonderful stay at Pension Mašek and would happily return.

The owner is incredibly friendly and does everything he can to make guests comfortable. The rooms have sturdy, comfortable beds and a nice bathroom, all at very good value. It's a lovely area to relax, go for walks, and enjoy the surroundings. We'd definitely come back.

The owner was very helpful and accommodating, and the Wi-Fi stayed strong without interruptions. The room was older but clean, with a shower in the bathroom; the bed was on the firm side. Breakfast was standard for a pension. It's in a quiet part of Cheb and has its own parking lot. I recommend it.
