As a biker, I’m not expecting much for this price, but basic cleanliness and a decent standard should still be there. The room was grimy and worn, with cigarette smoke covered up by a cloyingly sweet spray. It looked nothing like the photos on Google Maps or booking.com. The sink was too tiny to wash in, and there were no bathroom shelves, towel hooks, or spot for a toothbrush holder. The room had no useful shelves either.

We found an apartment here at the last minute. It had been renovated recently, and was clean and pleasantly furnished. Communication took a little effort, but we got the place we wanted. A good choice for a short stay.

It was easy to get around from here, with the train station close by. The room was quiet and clean, but there were definitely bedbugs. :-( There was no breakfast, and the price felt very high for this area. The staff were really friendly, though nobody spoke English. We couldn't speak Czech or Vietnamese either, but it wasn't a major issue.

The only possible hassle is the lack of an elevator, especially if you're heading up to the 4th floor. The kitchen has the basics for cooking, though we only needed glasses. The rooms are great and look recently renovated, and the hotel is in a superb location.
