The owners really made us feel at home, and we got all we needed during our stay. We slept better than we had in ages in that fresh mountain air. The staff were friendly and professional, the food was great, and the service was spot on. We had such a lovely time at this family-run place and would happily come back.

There’s a lovely sense of peace up on the hill, with a beautiful view, and plenty of opportunities for walks in nature, including on the German side. The guesthouse is also welcoming to dogs, and there’s a small shop by the building. For activities, there’s an indoor pool, tennis court, goals, ping pong, billiards, a mini gym, and bowling if you ask. You can also request the sauna and hot tub, though the room with the hot tub smelled a little damp and musty. The rooms were clean and tidy, but the furniture and equipment felt a bit dated and could use an update. Breakfast was a regular buffet, dinner was good, and there’s a small children’s playroom in the main room. A quiet place to rest and relax.
