Cool.

The place was super clean, and check-in really wasn’t that difficult, despite what some reviews seemed to suggest. The toilet paper, though, was the roughest and hardest I’ve ever come across, and I was born in a third world country. There was also a little convenience store on the premises that never opened, so I’m not sure what that was about. They gave us two bottles of drinking water for free, but charged over one euro for instant coffee.

We were happy with our one-night stop at the guesthouse while on a cycling tour. The shared kitchen had a relaxed feel, and everything was very clean. There was also a small kiosk downstairs, though it was closed during our stay. Coffee capsules were available to use in the room for a small extra charge.

This feels more like a workers' hostel. It was clean and the room was OK, but not worth the price. We arrived at 9:15 pm and had to pay an extra 10 EUR to get the keys. Why not 20 EUR or even 50? The staff were friendly, but the owner was arrogant and unwilling to cancel our booking. People from the hostel smoked right under our windows, and the smoke came into the room, even though the rooms are non-smoking. Pets are allowed, but cost an extra 175 CZK, and that wasn’t mentioned anywhere about the beds. For a two-bed room advertised at 800,-, we paid over 1400,-. The owners should stick to what they do best, frying lard, and give up offering services to tourists. No more.
