A cool spot.

I booked through Booking and paid in advance, then asked at reception on arrival for an invoice for my company. It wasn't ready when I checked out, so I left my business card and asked them to email it. A month went by, my accountant reminded me, and my follow-up email got no reply. Calls to the mobile number on the website are rejected, with no call back, and neither SMS nor MMS gets a response. Even now, the lack of any reply really bothers me. I filed complaints with the Czech Tax Inspectorate and am suing the Czech Tourist Office. I don't see them on Booking anymore, and my guess is that Kamýk is bankrupt and finished. I can't explain this behavior any other way, since no hotel would act like this. I also looked up the company in the judiciary: company ID 19968477, described as a contemporary company from 2023 connected to the roughly 25-year-old Šíma, with registered capital of 1000 CZK. As for the stay, I wouldn't call the place a hotel, it felt like a hostel. A weekend with breakfast and a single bed cost 3104 CZK. Breakfast had water but no juice, and the terrace ashtray had someone else's cigarette butts in it, even though I'm a non-smoker. The next day nobody came to service the room, take out the trash, or make the bed. I'd already read the reviews, but chose it for the location because I was staying in the area and suppose I felt the same way myself.
