Martin and Iva are always helpful and really nice. The house has a bit of an old-school feel, but it has soul, and Wi-Fi reaches throughout. Each carpeted room has its own bathroom. The kitchen is somewhat small, though it has everything you need. Outside is well kept, with seating areas around the house and a fire pit. There’s also a sauna and pool, but unfortunately they weren’t available during our winter stay.

There’s good hiking right nearby, and Vrchlabi has shopping and nice places to eat. Several excursion destinations are close as well. The rooms are clean and well equipped, and the place can host up to 20 people. The kitchen is well equipped too. The owner is very friendly and speaks fluent German. The new sauna is clean, and there’s a garden pool for summer.

We loved our stay and are already planning another one ;-) The rooms are peaceful, with private showers, and nobody disturbs you. It was lovely to sit by the fireplace or out on the terrace. The pool is covered, heated, and beautifully warm.

The surrounding area is easy to explore, and Vrchlabí is only a short way off. There aren’t any grocery shops in Dolní Dvůr, unfortunately. The cottage itself is spacious, with a large pool, right in the middle of nature. We really liked it here.
