The accommodation is good for the price. The main drawback is the very weak Wi-Fi, so bring your own internet connection if you can. There are stairs up to the rooms, which makes the place unsuitable for people with disabilities :).

We were impressed by the owner's attitude, and the location, cleanliness, and price were all first-rate 😀 We'd definitely recommend it.

The owner was really kind and attentive, and the guesthouse feels new and spotless. It even smells lovely. Remember to bring slippers, since you switch into them downstairs. We stayed in room no. 3. It was roomy, with lots of storage, new furniture, a big bathroom with a shower, and a mosquito net on the window. The beds creak a little. I also liked having a fridge and TV in the room. The shared kitchen is spacious and has plenty of places to sit, including a dining table, chairs, a couch, and terrace seating. There are lots of dishes and cutlery, plus coffee and tea, a toaster, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, and dishwasher. It feels like having a kitchen at home. It's kept clean, with a jar, dish sponge, and cloth there. I mention that because some guests may not notice them and leave a mess, though the owner cleans regularly. Outside, the terrace is large, with a grill, two tables, plenty of chairs, and an ashtray. We had a wonderful 8 days here, though the soundproofing is the one real downside. You can hear everything, even someone using the toilet next door or plugging in a phone charger. If someone in one room gets up, everyone else may wake too. Sharing the kitchen at breakfast can be a bit of a struggle when all three rooms are occupied. Still, we're all human and can usually work things out. We had the guesthouse to ourselves for most of the holiday, so it didn't bother me much. This setup seems ideal for a family or a group of friends booking all the rooms. We stayed in August 2019 and were very happy with this lovely, newly built family guesthouse near Mácha Lake. The rooms were clean, the bathroom smelled fresh, and the shared kitchen and lounge worked perfectly for our small group of friends. We had our own facilities and nobody disturbed us. It felt like we had the whole guesthouse to ourselves :-).
