We had a comfortable, relaxing family stay, and my boy enjoyed walking around the cabin. The resort is calm, and I highly recommend it for families with small children. Most people we met were very kind and polite, including two lovely reception ladies who explained that the different water taste came from its mineral content. I had a difficult moment at the bistro. As a mom, I asked the owner whether the cottage water was safe to drink because I wanted to check before giving it to my toddler. The reply could have been more polite. Instead, he said, “I don't know which country you're coming from, but water is drinkable throughout CZ.” I've been in CZ for the last seven years and know a lot about it, but when something tastes a bit different, I still want to be sure before giving it to my baby. That response spoiled my evening a little. Hospitality takes kindness and warmth, wherever someone comes from. I can't blame the property for one person's response, and the rest of the people we met were lovely.

A perfect, well equipped house in an excellent spot near the lake. We had a great time. The one thing missing was window screens to keep mosquitoes, flies, and similar bugs out.

Inside, the house was clean, but outside was a complete mess. The patio was filthy, and the table and chairs were very dirty with bird droppings on them. There were cigarette butts in the grill too.

The location is fantastic, right by Lake Lipno, with beautiful views and plenty to do for anyone who wants activities. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was great, but it was very warm outside and even hotter and stuffier indoors. There was no air conditioning or fan. There were also lots of wasps, and in our experience the issue wasn't handled very effectively. We couldn't air the room out because they were easily drawn inside. A mosquito screen is definitely needed. The wasps also meant we could barely use the balcony, which felt a bit too small anyway. We had to pay for towels and bed linens, and during our week-long stay we didn't get fresh towels. There's a shared washing machine, but with someone's load taking 2.5 hours, it wasn't very practical. Getting new towels meant paying again. I'd recommend the place if those drawbacks don't bother you. If we return, we'd look for a house instead.
