Ski & Spa Bellevue Harrachov

The view was nice, and the food, especially breakfast, was great. Service was friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the bowls and dog bed they provided for our dog. The sauna was decent, and the mini fridge was reasonably priced. Still, the room was very small, daily cleaning was poor, and there were holes in the sheets. The coffee and prosecco were awful. The jacuzzi cost a lot and wasn’t that good, the TV was small, the bed only okay, and there was no kettle. Our stay was fine, but I don’t think we’ll return.

We arrived at 10:15, after the breakfast hours we’d been told about, and they still prepared a great breakfast just for the two of us without hesitation. Our hotel had told us breakfast was included here and that it ran until 9:30, and when it was already 9:55 they called ahead and said something could be arranged. We only learned when leaving that our hotel had sent us here by mistake and breakfast wasn’t included. I offered to pay, but they firmly refused, saying it was the other hotel’s mistake. I’ve rarely seen such a customer-first response, and I imagine they handle their other services with the same care.

The rooms had great views, and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The location is lovely, though arriving by car in winter wasn’t possible, so we had to walk up and down a very slippery road each time. They only drove us on arrival and departure, and we were told about this just a day or two before the trip. The spa was cozy and nice, but the jacuzzi cost extra. Hanka gave us the best massage we’ve had, and she was kind and friendly too. Make sure to book with her! Staff were hard to deal with when we tried to arrange the spa and massages, as they didn’t explain where things were or confirm bookings clearly, so we had to ask several times. At checkout they nearly charged us twice for things we didn’t owe, first overlooking that we’d already paid the reservation, then handing us another room’s minibar bill. They left us feeling uncomfortable about approaching them. The man who took us to and from the car on the snowmobile was really nice and even made the rides fun. All in all, it was an okay stay. The staff were extremely nice and attentive, especially the woman at reception. When my dog was frightened of the stairs, they moved us to a ground-floor room. The small hotel is above town and newly renovated, with clean, cozy rooms and very good breakfasts. There are beautiful hiking and walking trails nearby, so I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys spending time in nature.
