Hotýlek pod smrkem

The terrace has a Finnish sauna and jacuzzi, and there’s a really nice games room inside, plus a good playground beside the house. We liked how much they trust their guests: you simply note any extra drinks or food you take after breakfast. Breakfast is a good buffet, and throughout your stay there’s a coffee machine, a beer tap, and a fridge stocked with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The hotel is in a quieter part of Harrachov. Highly recommended!

We stayed for five nights as three families with four 13-year-old kids, and had three lovely units. They were spacious, clean, comfortable, and well lit, with excellent bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent too, and the kids thought the games room was a dream. The grounds are beautifully looked after, with flowers, a nice yard beside the stream, seating, a trampoline, a balcony, and welcoming shared spaces. Harrachov’s tourist area was just a few minutes’ walk away, which worked very well for us. Lenka and Petr greeted each of us when we arrived and made sure we were having a good time both at the guesthouse and on our trips. Lenka helped us plan the next day each day, suggested restaurants, arranged laundry, and made breakfast for us on our last day when we had to leave at 6:30am. We really appreciated all of that. The rooms are clean and large, the bathrooms are new, and the location is good. A few things could be better: ventilation in the rooms, ideally air conditioning, showers instead of baths, a place to sit outside the rooms in the evening, and help with tips for day trips and restaurants. Still, we recommend Hotel Pod Smrkem and will certainly recommend it to others.

We spent seven days there on a winter holiday with friends, and it was a great time. Everything was delightful and very well prepared. The owners, Lenka and Peter, were wonderful and took good care of us during our stay at their hotel. It was a pleasure to be there, and we had a great time. I’m sure we’ll come back as soon as we can. Best wishes to the owners.

The rooms were bigger than I expected, and the hotel was clean. The facilities are excellent, the food is great, and the staff seem ready to do anything they can to help. A highly recommended place to stay for skiing.
