A really nice hotel in a peaceful spot. The meals were very good, and the beer was fresh from the keg!

The hotel’s location is lovely, in a quiet green area near walking trails, the forest, and the ski slopes. Most of the staff were kind and clearly working hard, and they really did their best. But management needs to improve, including putting curtains in the rooms. The dining area couldn’t handle the number of guests. Every evening people were practically fighting for a table, and if you arrived a bit later, much of the good food was gone and wasn’t replenished. The rooms were claustrophobically small, especially the double room we could have had in the attic. It was only 6 m2, with just a bed and a high roof window that gave us no view, only four yellow walls closing in. There wasn’t a single room in the hotel with curtains.

The restaurant was the biggest problem, especially in February. It was far too small for the number of guests, with a huge queue forming 15 minutes before opening, and otherwise there was nowhere to sit. You can’t have rooms for 140 people and a restaurant that seats only 80. The rooms were okay, but lacked things like curtains and a shower curtain.

The apartments are spacious and clean, and the restaurant is good, so I’d recommend it. The place does need a full renovation, though, and that would cost tens of millions CZK.
