Pension Renata

We had a great stay in the cozy five-bed room, which had its own kitchen and fridge, handy when you’re travelling with kids. The owner also knows how to pour an exquisite Pilsner beer, better than many professional pubs. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent, and we’re already planning to come back.

We’ve stayed at Renata Pension more than once, and it won’t be our last visit. The owners make you feel at home, whether you’re here to work remotely or explore the beautiful mountain landscape. There’s plenty of room for the whole family, and the rooms are beautiful and well equipped. The restaurant is friendly and comfortable too. For the experiences we’ve had, we’d give it six stars if that were possible.

It’s very quiet here. In the five-person room, you’ll be on the top floor in one large bedroom. The low ceilings are dangerously easy to bump into, and the shower pressure is very weak.

Radek gave us helpful information about what to do during our stay. Set uphill near the woods, the pension has an astonishing view and fresh air. The room itself was basic but clean, while the owners’ thoughtfulness and friendliness made the place stand out. They create a warm, homely atmosphere, and it’s very child-friendly: there’s football, a little rope park, trampoline, swings, a children’s pool and badminton. We had campfires with sausages a few evenings, and bought drinks from the pension bar while the children played and we relaxed. The breakfast buffet was varied, tasty and excellent. We also had dinner there a few times. Thanks for the warm hospitality, I couldn’t have asked for a better host! Loved everything, including the greatest beer and malinovka. 🙂
