Pension Ferda

The rooms are a little dated, but they’re nicely decorated and super clean. The pension itself feels cozy, tucked into a meadow by the forest at the edge of the village. There’s a lovely garden, a children’s playground, and a terrace where you can sit by the fireplace. The food is absolutely amazing, like grandma’s cooking. There are plenty of tourist activities nearby, along with restaurants and cafes. I definitely recommend the pension :)

There’s a playground for children, and the service was friendly. The outdoor restaurant sits in a lovely green meadow with views of the surrounding mountains. You can take a seat under the shelter if it rains. 👍

The food was delicious, and the staff were great, easily the best part of the stay for me. The garden also has a large covered wooden veranda with a fireplace, a bar, and tables for around 30 people, by my estimate, so it seems great for outdoor events. There’s also a big children’s area with a slide and sandbox. Downstairs, the large dining room and the ground floor are modern and very nice. The building is a mix: some areas have been modernized, while others feel more like a budget tourist hostel. We were there for a company team building and stayed in a three-person room on the second floor. It had a sink, while the toilet and shower were in the hallway. The room and bed linen were clean. I usually stay in hotels for business, so I don’t have much experience with this kind of accommodation; compared with those hotels, I’d give the lodging itself 2.5-3 stars. Taking everything into account, about four stars feels right, and that’s my rating.

It’s a quiet place, suitable for children and for different kinds of celebrations. There are 34 beds across 10 apartments, and the service is friendly.
