The rooms are really good, and most of the staff are kind and work hard. The owner and chef, though, are absolutely terrible.

The terrace and garden were the best part, and the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout. We felt welcome and looked after everywhere in the hotel. We stayed for 4 days with our two children and had a lovely holiday for a great price. The room was very nice, comfort type, breakfast was good, and dinner portions were generous. Our 9-year-old son loved having the gym and billiards included in the price, while our 5-year-old daughter was thrilled with the ball pit in the children's corner. The timing for dinner could still use some work. If it says 6 pm, it'd be nice for dinner to be ready then, rather than someone coming to ask at 7 pm if we wanted it. Still, we were waiting on the terrace with a beer in hand, so it wasn't much of a hardship. The owner was incredibly accommodating too. At 9:30 pm, after the chef had left, we mentioned on the terrace that we'd like tartare with toast, and the owner got up and made it for us. He kept bringing more toast even when we really couldn't eat any more. 😀 Thanks for such a nice stay. We'll definitely be back.
