2/10
The room was tiny, with a small, dated bathroom, and cleanliness was only passable. What made the stay especially unpleasant was the owner. He was rude, ignored guests, and never answered despite our repeated questions about check-in. Even arriving by bicycle and letting him know caused a fuss. The low price is the one upside, but cheap accommodation doesn’t excuse that treatment. I’d rather pay twice as much and stay elsewhere.

Having to leave your shoes downstairs and switch to flip-flops wasn’t great, and the room itself was tiny with uncomfortable beds and no TV. I wouldn’t choose this for a holiday.

The breakfasts alone are a reason to come back: fresh pastries, excellent butcher’s ham, and really good rolls. The food and beer were great too, and the price for what you get is hard to beat. Such a lovely, peaceful spot. We’ll be back soon ❤️
