The house looks really nice from the outside, and it’s a cool place, but our basement room smelled like catacombs. There were spiders, and a rat got in through a window I couldn’t close, then pooped in my backpack 😱. I probably should’ve expected trouble after seeing the cat drag one into the kitchen. It was a disaster, and I’m not picky. But come on, relax! 😁

The First Republic villa has most rooms furnished in a stylish way, and Hostinné has nice walks, a museum, and a great search game from the info center. The landlady really cooks like her mother, and both owners are kind and pleasant. I recommend staying here, including half board. We had a very nice time.

Free parking right in the yard, and just a few steps from the town center, away from street noise. The First Republic villa has a beautiful setting, opulent chandeliers, period furniture, and a doll-sized room with comfortable mattresses. We gave the half board a top mark, and the service was very friendly. Nothing to complain about. 🤗

Breakfast was good, and the menu prices seemed reasonable for today. It’s a decent guesthouse at reasonable prices, and it felt like a happy place. There was a waste smell, but it seemed to be throughout the village.

There are some nice touches here: the old rooms, parquet floors, old furniture, and a good location. Parking was also a plus. But the villa wasn’t clean enough for me. The bedding didn’t look fresh, there was dust on the tables, and cobwebs on the walls. At least the bathtub and toilet were clean. Our basement room smelled damp, and the towels stayed wet. Breakfast ran from 8:00 to 9:30, but we arrived shortly after 9:00 and there was practically nothing left to choose from. It’s not a bad property, but I wouldn’t return.
