We spent five nights here and really enjoyed it. The room was fine and had good heating, the shower was wonderfully warm, and the wood stove downstairs burned nicely. Miro and his wife are fantastic, hospitable hosts and excellent cooks. There are hiking and cross-country skiing routes nearby; for a change of pace, we spent a day in Liberec and visited Jested Tower. We can highly recommend Chata Rychtárka.

I've stayed at Chata Rychtářka three times: for a winter holiday, an Easter event, and finally my own wedding, when we booked the whole pension for a weekend-long event. Everything was handled with great care on every occasion. The Štrop family clearly love what they do. The pension is beautiful, cozy and well located, and Jitka and Miroslav are friendly, kind and professional owners. They're also excellent chefs, with a wide knowledge of world cuisine. I can't recommend the place enough. Thanks so much for everything!

The owners were super helpful, and we had a great weekend here with little kids. The beds were good, and breakfast and supper were awesome. The children loved both the indoor games corner and the outdoor playground; there's also a bigger municipal playground a few minutes' walk away. There are no kettles in the rooms, but the owners help out with that. It was great, thank you.

I was here for a friend's wedding, and the place felt calm. The children's playground is absolutely great. It's in the middle of the city, though, so there's not much privacy.
