The staff were really friendly and helpful. The place itself is nice, but it could use a bit of investment, and the comfort you get feels a little overpriced.

A really nice pension!

The rooms were nice and kept their original design, but the beds were uncomfortable and too short. We were freezing at night and had to sleep in hats. There didn’t seem to be much interest in turning the heating on, even though the place wasn’t very full. Breakfast was quite meagre, and after such cold nights it was always cold too. The location is fairly accessible, and from Jeseník it’s easy to reach the main tourist attractions. For a stay at Slezský dům, though, having a car is probably better, since the guesthouse is quite far out on the edge of Jeseník. The owner was very unpleasant.

The owner was very welcoming and knew the area around Jeseník inside out, with plenty of useful trip tips. Our stylish room was clean, and daily cleaning was included in the price. Breakfast was generous, there was lots of parking, and we could lock up our bikes. We also enjoyed the terrace and its beautiful view.

It’s easy to get out on trips by bus or train, so this is a good spot even if you don’t have a car. The manager is a local and happy to share ideas about places to go and things to see. She was very nice and helpful, and the guesthouse felt cozy and well cared for, with improvements being made and the clean room tidied daily. For dinner, there’s a nearby hotel next door. Thanks so much for the stay.
