The crossroads on the tourist route, bus stop, and big parking area keep this place fairly busy. We found it pleasant to stay overnight, with friendly, helpful staff and good food featuring local cheese. The 2004 renovation did leave the rooms a little darker.

We'd pictured a romantic evening fire under the stars, but the owner said fires are only allowed during the day. So if you fancy sitting by a fire at noon, sunbathing and grilling sausages in 35 °C, this is the place! 🌞🔥 Calling was a bit like playing “Guess the word”: I spoke Czech, they spoke their language, and we probably ended up ordering something quite different from what we meant.
