Golf&Wellness Resort Alfrédov

The room was neat and well kept, but it was tiny, with just a double bed and a shower and no room to spare. It works if all you need is somewhere to sleep. Breakfast costs 6 Euro and is simple but satisfying, though having it more than two days running gets boring. The receptionist didn't speak English, so I had to communicate with her through Google Translate. When we were given one key card instead of two, she said we'd have to pay for another. There didn't seem to be much awareness of service, and even for the price we paid, I expected a better place. I probably won't come back.

The staff were helpful and nice, and the breakfast was super delicious. They started the sauna when we asked, which was really enjoyable. I chose this place at the last minute and don't regret it. I got a very nice apartment with a stylish bathroom.

The area around the hotel is nice and quiet, and my room was nice too, with a beautiful view of the garden and fountain. But the internet was incredibly slow: 0,28Mbps download and 1,26Mbps upload. Room service left my apartment door open all day. Fortunately, my laptop was still there. They also hung my used towel back up instead of replacing it after I'd left it on the floor. At breakfast, I found mould on a dessert, and some of the fruit looked a bit old. It seemed like they might be trying to save money by using leftover food.

I love this resort. I've been twice, and both visits it was a beautiful, peaceful place surrounded by wonderful countryside.
