Kaskáda Hotel

Great.

We’re not really golf fans, but we liked this place a lot. It’s a beautiful, quiet spot surrounded by nature, and not far from Brno Zoo.

The separate apartment houses turned out to be a good fit for our two-day stay at Kaskáda Golf Resort near Kuřim. We had more privacy and quiet than we expected, and the car access and parking were straightforward. The room was already cozy and warm at 22 °C when we arrived, despite it being -4 °C outside, with the air conditioning heating it. Check-in went smoothly. The receptionist was professional, kind and helpful, explained everything clearly, offered to book dinner, and showed us where our apartment was. On the first evening, she also lent us an umbrella when it rained, and we used it again the next day in the snow. Little touches like that made us feel well looked after. We made the most of the wellness facilities. We had a private jacuzzi on the first evening, then used the pool around lunchtime the next day, which we had to ourselves. Later we visited the wellness area with its Finnish and steam saunas, cooling pool and relaxation room. At the pool, you can get coffee for a fee or take a beer, wine or soft drink from the minibar and pay for it all at reception, which was very convenient. The food was a highlight. Dinner was delicious, with a wide choice, great flavors and friendly staff. Breakfast was also excellent. After the overnight snowfall, the path between the apartment and main building had been carefully salted and cleared, which showed that guest safety matters here. We had a very relaxing time, ate well and slept well. The resort suits golf lovers, but you don’t need to play golf to enjoy it.
