The dinners were worth it, with soup and a main course each time, and breakfast was a buffet. We had a wonderful holiday and really enjoyed the friendly family atmosphere and great service. The rooms had older furniture, but it suited the guesthouse perfectly. We’re looking forward to coming back and definitely recommend it.

The staff were the best, ready to sort things out, help, or give advice. The whole place was very clean, including the children's corner, which was open around the clock and great for our early riser. Even the road outside was quiet, and the rooms felt cozy and peaceful. Outdoors, the children's area could have a bit more in it, though the kids could meet the goats. The self-service bar was a nice touch.

This was our third visit this year, and we’ve been completely happy every time. The service at both breakfast and dinner is pleasant and really helpful.

The surroundings were the weak point. On arrival, the outside looked neglected and it took us a while to figure out where to go. The playground needed attention too, with nails sticking out of the broken sandbox, and the grill looked as if it had never been cleaned. Still, the nature and views were absolutely divine. Inside, things were fine. Our room was clean and the older furnishings didn’t bother us, though it was tiny. With a travel cot, we just about squeezed in, and it worked for sleeping. We liked the food, and by arrangement they left some for us to heat whenever we wanted. The pub ran on self-service, with the man telling us to take what we wanted and write it down. I appreciated the trust, even though my friend ended up breaking the tap when the beer ran out. We liked the stay and would recommend it to anyone after a quiet place in beautiful nature. It’s just a shame about that first impression around the guesthouse.
