Ekofarma Rytířova Lhota

We spent the weekend at the farm and had a really good time. Such a peaceful spot, and a great base for exploring the sights of Bohemian Paradise. I can recommend it to anyone looking for some quiet.

The homemade pancakes at breakfast were delicious, and there’s a lovely playground right beside the house, with animals nearby too. Inside, the rooms have a tasteful country style, and the shared kitchen is well equipped. The children’s playroom was a nice extra. The building sits at the village edge, surrounded by fields, so it’s wonderfully quiet. The owner was warm and welcoming. My daughter got ill, so we couldn’t stay for the whole weekend or see the nearby attractions as planned. We’ll definitely come back.

We didn’t want to leave after our lovely week here. It’s an exceptionally peaceful place with beautiful surroundings, and the bedroom and apartment furnishings, as well as the house overall, really appealed to me. Kost Castle, Trosky, and other natural and cultural sights are easy to reach. We could buy local eggs, milk, and yogurt, and the colonial, café, or restaurant in the neighboring village was just a short shaded walk through the valley. There’s also a view of Trosky Castle from the road a few meters from the house. Lots for children to do, and the owners were nice and easy to communicate with. The dirt road to the property was in good condition and caused us no trouble. We stayed in the attic apartment, which got very hot in hot weather, though it was manageable. The sauna and jacuzzi were great. Kitchen and bathroom equipment could be a little newer and better, but it was enough. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The house seems to have been renovated recently, and the equipment was clean and almost new. We stayed in an attic apartment. It was tropical outside and pretty warm indoors too, but manageable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Breakfast always included ham, cheese, eggs, or something sweet, and the landlady sometimes brought something from the farm, like organic milk or cheese. It’s a lovely, very quiet place, practically secluded, about 1 km from Rytířova lhota, with the second half of the way on a gravelly dirt road. The landlady was nice. Great for families: after running around the rocks of Bohemian Paradise, kids can burn off their remaining energy feeding cows, sheep, or rabbits. Photo taken when leaving.
