The food was good at both breakfast and dinner, and the place is charming with lovely decor. We only stayed one night. Since it was warm, we left the skylight open overnight. By morning, both my kids had lots of insect bites. They slept beside the skylight, while we were on the other side of the room and weren't bitten.

The garden is especially nice, and the restaurant has a very pleasant feel. The service was really friendly, but the food was disappointing. The fish was the better dish, though still not great. The ribs were extremely fatty and didn't come off the bone easily. I'm reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel.

I keep craving the seared duck breast, it was delicious. This is a real gem on the way to Prague, with kind service, a nice atmosphere, and plenty of good food to choose from. Everyone should be able to find something they like.

The place was packed, so booking ahead seems sensible for busier times. We only ate at the restaurant, and every dish we tried was excellent. The menu was full of tempting choices, the beer was great, and the service was friendly, professional, and quick.
