We’d gone a little farther inland after our usual restaurant was full, and ended up having a good traditional meal at a reasonable price. It was Sunday lunchtime, and there were just a few locals besides us. The place has a 90s look inside and out, but we got a very friendly welcome. The owner/waiter looked a bit "wild" at first, yet he was really nice, attentive, and friendly. The menu was in Czech, though using a phone translator was easy enough. We tried three soups, two meat dishes, a Wiener Schnitzel, and a pizza. Everything was good, traditional, and nicely presented. Highly recommended. One odd thing, the light in the women’s restroom switches off as soon as someone goes in 🤣.

The pizzas were big and good, but all of ours came out raw. We’d ordered two 30cm cheese pizzas, one 50cm cheese pizza, and one ham pizza. We didn’t want to complain and wait around, so one guest ate them, and only one other guest came in the whole time 🫣🥺. The visit felt strange from the start. We arrived at 11.45am and sat down in an empty restaurant. The waiter then said the menus hadn’t been printed yet and he didn’t know what was on them. The light also went out when we entered the women’s toilet.

We’ve stayed here twice now. The first impression wasn’t great, but we came to appreciate the place. The accommodation was clean and quiet at night. What really surprised us was the food, everything we ordered was delicious. The service was lovely, and they even made room for us to have a late dinner. We’d be very happy to come back.

Had today’s burger 🤤 The buns are baked in-house, and they even have a gluten-free version 😊. You can get it with or without a side, though I would’ve liked something besides fries 🙂. It tastes great, and the service is nice 🙏😊.
