I've stayed here several times, and the service has always been friendly, the rooms clean, and the prices fair. It's my favorite place to stay in Louny, with the main square close enough to explore on foot. There's also a museum next door, a nice extra if you're interested in local history and culture. The lower-level restaurant smells tempting, so stop by and check out the specials. The top-floor suite has the best views, looking out over the church and square, as well as the river and mountains. Breakfast is a traditional continental spread with yogurt, cereal, eggs, bread, different meats, juice, and coffee.

The menu has some interesting, unusual flavors. A few dishes were better than others, but it's worth giving them a try.

The rooms were dirty, with dust and dirty chairs. My wife found dead birds on the roof. The hotel had put glue across the whole roof to trap and kill birds. They say that when a bird gets stuck and dies up there, the other birds stay away. It sounds like demons are running the hotel. I'm definitely going to report this to the local environment office.
