The historic feel of the building has been kept nicely, and the setting was pleasant. Everything was clean, the steak restaurant served good food, and breakfast had a nice range of choices. Staff were very helpful: they let us check in 1.5 hours after reception had closed, and served breakfast at 7:00 when we asked, half an hour earlier than usual. There was also a locked, secure room for our bicycles. The street nearby was fairly noisy, with cars and motorbikes speeding by even at night. You could hear them with the window open. The pillows didn’t give much support, and the duvets felt very heavy and warm for the beginning of September, when it was still hot.

Good staff and plenty of parking. The steaks were the best I had in the Krkonoše mountains.
