The one positive was that it was clean. The website made it look very attractive, but it disappointed in every other category. The location was terrible: a 25-minute walk, much of it uphill, from the station and 20 minutes to town. Even the taxi driver from Melnik couldn't find it. There was nothing in the area, and the photos were completely misleading. It showed as "fully booked" for my dates, but was actually empty. Guests have to make up their own beds, and you must arrange a check-in time in advance because nobody is there. It might suit school groups, but even £10 a night wouldn't make it appealing. I had paid for two nights.
