House Měřín Slapy

We were nine in all, our family of seven plus two friends, and everyone was thrilled. The hosts, Mr. and Mrs., were relaxed, friendly and always smiling. Everything worked; if anything was missing or not working, we only had to mention it and it was sorted straight away. The fenced property gave the kids and our friends room to roam, and there was parking inside, a spot to load and unload by the pergola, and a lockable shed for bikes and other things. The beach choices, “U vlka” or the hotel beaches, were just right for little ones, with gentle sandy shores, sun loungers, boats and paddleboards. Our kids would have gone wild at the hotel aquapark. For fresh pastries, the nearest place is in Jablonná, the next village, about 2 km away, an easy scooter trip. From the pergola you can’t see the water, and it’s 400-500 m from the top, then uphill again. Still, the forest is right there and you get privacy from every side. The viewpoint across from Ždání is lovely and newly renovated, but the steel cables used as barriers were already loose in places or completely fallen out in July 2020. A small child could fall through. Everything at Mr. Trojánek’s place felt cozy and sincere, with a lovely warmth to it. We’d happily come back. Highly recommended. Michal and family, Kladno

A very pleasant, spacious place to stay. Getting a car in is a bit tricky.

There’s a lot to do nearby, from walking and driving trips to sports and wellness at the nearby hotel, which also welcomes non-guests. The restaurant is right nearby but doesn’t cause noise, and the general store in the next village is open every day. Around the accommodation, the grounds are nicely kept and there’s enough privacy. Inside, it’s comfortable even in hot weather thanks to the building’s solid, thick walls, and the beds were comfortable. The owner was helpful, and the facilities were complete. Absolutely satisfied.
