Hotel Golf Garni

The room was clean and mostly quiet, except when other guests’ kids ran along the hallway. Breakfast was good, though the coffee tasted like instant, and cappuccino came only in hazelnut flavour. A few things could be improved: the double bed was two single mattresses, the curtains let in a lot of outside light, and the shower drained poorly. A fridge in the room would also be useful. Still, it was okay overall.

The staff were nice, and it was okay for a night, but our stay didn’t match what was advertised. The rooms and view were different, and the vineyard is at a separate location. Check those details before checking in.

The parking was nearby, and the staff seemed friendly, if very informal, though not well trained. But the photos give the wrong impression: if you expect a golf setting among vineyards and green countryside, you’ll be disappointed. It’s actually a small pension on the edge of the village. The room also needed some upkeep, with paint peeling off the walls and still lying on the floor.

The rooms are on the small side but nice, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. There’s wine in the fridge that you can take whenever you like and pay for later.
