The countryside around the cottage was lovely for walks and bike rides, especially with little kids since it’s mostly flat. Mount Říp is just above the small village, and Prague is close enough for a city trip too. We came as two families with children, 10 people in all, and had plenty of room. The cabin was clean, cozy, well equipped, and had a homey feel. Communication was friendly and easy from the start, and we felt welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

The cottage is a handy base for trips, close to Mount Říp and within reach of Roudnice nad Labem and Melnik. We enjoyed staying here, and the owner was excellent to communicate with. It was clean and comfortable, with plenty of things for children. Chata Lucie offers free Wi-Fi, plus a sauna, inflatable pool, grill, trampoline, and other things to use.

We found some board games in the cottage, which was a nice surprise. Mount Říp is right behind the village, and we had a really enjoyable stay. We’d love to come back 🙂

The area worked well for bike rides with children because it’s so flat, and Prague is nearby for a day out. The cottage had a pleasant atmosphere, was clean and well equipped, and the capacity for eight was just right for our two families with children. The staff were kind and helpful too. We’d definitely recommend it and would love to return someday.
