Hotel Fabok

The location just off D11 is convenient, and the receptionist was friendly. That’s about all I liked. Fabok is really a hostel attached to a pub, not something I’d call a hotel. In Room No. 2 there was a musty smell, and the beds, mattresses and bedding were all well past their best. The floor could have done with a mop and the room needed dusting before guests arrived, plus there were lots of cobwebs and spiders. Noise from the hallway and other rooms carried into our room until late. I’d pay a few hundred extra and look for much better accommodation nearby.

A basic, inexpensive Czech hotel with no major amenities. The rooms are clean and medium-sized, with large bathrooms and a flat-screen TV on the wall. There’s a beer bar on site, open from 4 to 11 p.m., though it can get noisy.

It was fairly clean, but noise from the factory next door continued all night. The shower also wouldn’t drain.

The room is adequate, though the area around the hotel and hostel is pretty noisy. For one or two nights, it’s fine. If I were staying longer, I’d probably look for somewhere else nearby.
