The neighbors were what really won us over, especially Mrs. Máša, as the locals called her. They were so kind and helpful, thank you! We spent a week here. The place was beautiful, clean, and nicely furnished, with a small but lovely yard. The mattresses in the downstairs bedroom are worn out. It would also be nice to have the seating area covered, even with a parasol, and some cushions.

A mushroom picker's paradise, with beautiful nature all around. Vižňov is quiet at this end, and the cottage is clean, nicely equipped, and has a lovely fireplace. There's a small fenced garden and private paved parking right at the property. The owners are pleasant and easy to talk to. We love returning here again and again.

The house stayed standing and we got out safely, though it’s hard to put into words what it was like to be caught in the middle of a natural disaster. On our last evening, the power went out, so we had no heat or hot water. Luckily there was a stove and plenty of firewood. A whole sea of memories.

It’s a lovely place. There’s not really anywhere to sit outdoors when it rains, so a pergola might be worth considering. The owners are apparently planning to renovate, though, so maybe that’ll change. ☺
