Hotel Rozkoš

I booked the hotel for the brutal assault festival. The room was ok and the bed was comfortable, though the toilet might need fixing. The people working at the bar deserve a big THANKS: even though they normally close around 10pm, they let us keep drinking there until 1am because of the festival. That alone earns them five stars. Dekuju moc !

We stayed here for one night in August 2012, just to rest, and the room was very comfortable for the three of us, including our child. From our room there was a beautiful view of the lake. We had supper too, and it was delicious without being expensive. The hostess was so friendly and gracious.

The best thing here is the nature nearby. The hotel itself feels very communist, and the smell isn't good; the rooms are quite small. I wondered if it had once been a hostel for dam workers, though the dam was built in the early 50's. A meal costs 2 to 4 €. I phoned to ask about storing my bike and requested half board, but when I arrived the receptionist seemed really surprised. She gave me the basement keys, and it felt like a haunted house, though I had to leave my bike there. Then I found out I hadn't ordered half board after all. And the beds are sofas, not beds. My back was aching badly. There's a camp near the hotel, with a disco from 8pm to 12am. If all you want is somewhere to sleep, it's ok. Nothing more.

The place was impossible to stay in. There were bugs, spiders, mosquitoes and all sorts of creatures, plus cobwebs everywhere and no proper cleaning. The bed sheets were ripped.
