František was so friendly and easy to chat with, and his menu suggestions were really helpful. We came upon this restaurant by chance in a remote spot and were greeted warmly. The food and service were superb. Such a lovely find, and I’d come back next time I’m in the area.

The meal was wonderful, and the service was great. I’d make the 45-minute drive again, especially for the best Pinot Noir I’ve ever tasted. It was worth the price, and I’ll definitely be back.

We stayed overnight as well as eating here, and the rooms were stylish and very comfortable. The beef was high quality and the service just right. We had a great time and hope to return sometime.

We had a beautifully decorated room, though the pillows were too soft and adjusting the A/C was difficult. Some loud, drunk guests kept making noise in the garden until 3am, which was unlucky for us. The food really is very good and lives up to the hype, so I’d still come back, though it isn’t cheap. Service fell short of what I’d expect from a top-notch boutique restaurant. Waits could be quite long, especially at breakfast and at dinner when we asked for things like a dessert menu. The waitresses also often seemed noticeably annoyed by the guests and not very professional. The wine selection wasn’t great either. The Czech pinot noir was so unpleasant we couldn’t finish it and had to ask for another wine.
