Hotel Penzion Na Hrada

I was delighted with my stay and have already saved the pension for next time. It's in a well-kept historic building, and the rooms are very clean. The mattress was comfortable, and the fresh bed linen and towels smelled lovely and were in perfect condition. The reception staff were kind and professional, and breakfast was wonderful. Definitely a place I'd recommend.

Breakfast in the garden was lovely, and the room was a good size. The reception was nice, too. We stayed over a weekend and appreciated that breakfast ran until 10:30 and checkout was as late as 12. Parking in the city centre is free at weekends. The hotel is right in the middle of Olomouc, just a few steps from the main squares, yet it felt peaceful. One of the best places we've stayed in recent years. It was exactly the relaxing break we wanted, and we'd happily come back. Highly recommended.

The location is hard to beat, and breakfast on the terrace was perfect. We were on a biking trip and arrived late, but the reception gentlemen had already arranged a flexible check-in, so everything went smoothly. The room was excellent, and we had a wonderful stay.

Breakfast wasn't huge, but the fresh eggs and bacon on the quiet little terrace made it a nice start to the day. The cook really knew how to make an omelet, and the friendly staff spoke English. The room was clean and a good size, with very good beds, air conditioning and a nice bathroom. It's right in Olomouc city centre, so you can hear the church bells on Sunday, though nothing from the streets below. Parking can be a bit difficult. Even so, this was easily one of the best hotels or pensions we've stayed at in the Czech Republic. If six stars were an option, we'd have given them.
