Hotelový dům has been the best hotel stay of my life both times I've visited. The reception women are very friendly and will help with problems, always finding a way to fix things. The rooms are amazing for the price, modern, well organized and perfectly clean. There's a little fridge for groceries or leftovers, plus comfy, stylish beds, a TV and a desk. The view over the main street is pretty exciting, but it never gets too loud to sleep. Heating runs 24/7, and rooms are usually cleaned each morning. You can do laundry here too, for 40kč an hour. It's right by the Tram Station Wolkerova, so getting to the City Centre is quick and easy. Trams usually run every 10 minutes in both directions. For a quick meal, there's an Italian Restaurant next to reception. I think Hotelový dům is underrated and a secret tip for tourists visiting Olomouc. Stay and see for yourself, it's worth the price!

Spacious, clean rooms and kind staff who were extremely helpful. The hospitality was outstanding, and it's great value for money. The centre is just a short walk away. An awesome place to stay in Olomouc!

For this price range, this is really not what accommodation should look like. The rooms are only partly modernized, and the place feels like a communist hostel, including some of the way it operates. The staff were unprofessional and breakfast was very poor. It's a real shame in this day and age. The attached picture shows what the breakfast staff were wearing.

The rooms have been renovated beautifully, and there was excellent coffee and tea. Breakfast had a good selection and was served across a generous 7-10 hour window. What I'll remember most is how willing the staff were to help. My earring came undone and all its beads fell into the trash. I cared a lot about those particular pieces of jewelry, so I mentioned it at reception, even though I didn't expect anything could be done. A lovely receptionist called a helpful maintenance man. While I was at breakfast, he opened the sink siphon and saved every bead. I was so surprised and grateful for their kindness and willingness to help. They made me feel that the world can still be okay somewhere. Thank you all again, and I hope you have many satisfied clients.

The breakfast service was excellent, and all the staff were smiling, helpful and nice. The rooms were clean and had a fridge and TV.
