4/10
There was no minibar or coffee in the room, and checkout was before 10:00 on Sunday morning. The restaurant next door is nice and decent, but it doesn't open for breakfast. Parking is around the corner in a courtyard. This pension felt gloomy and unstaffed, with nobody around, even at checkout. The room and shower were okay. I wouldn't come back.

The room was spacious and nicely furnished, and there's a decent restaurant next door. It's a small Pension about a ten-minute walk from Opava Vychod. The place seems to have no staff on site, and you get in using a code sent by text.

The portions were generous and definitely filled us up. The Pivni guláš and smažák we ordered today were tasty and cooked well. Our waitress was friendly and managed to communicate with us even though we don't speak Czech well. I really recommend Lidový dům if you're visiting Opava.

Locals recommended this newly renovated bar and restaurant, and it turned out to be beautiful. The food was great and the prices amazing, even by Czechia standards. Friendly staff too. I'd definitely come again.

The wait was 1 hour and 35 minutes, and nobody warned us that delivery would take so long. The service was disastrous. No one apologized, and the waitress seemed offended when we challenged her.
