The drive in from the main road is the main drawback. It’s about 800 m on a steep, rough track that seems better suited to an off-road vehicle. Once there, though, the setting is lovely and quiet, with a pond and a gazebo for grilling. Coal and the utensils were provided, and there’s a wine shop on site. The cottage was clean, with fresh-smelling towels, a well-equipped kitchen, and bathrooms that looked fairly recently renovated. One even had a urinal. There’s plenty of parking and the grass around the cottage was neatly mowed. The main issues were the unreliable, often weak Wi-Fi, short thin curtains that let in the morning sun, ants in the kitchen and nearby bedroom, and steep, narrow stairs up to the floor.

There’s a tank with newts here, and the surroundings are lovely for trips. It’s a really nice place, and I’d recommend it to everyone. :-)
