Checking in was efficient, but when I asked at checkout how to get to the station, the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. They need some basic customer service skills. I thought the room was decent, though I was on a quiet floor and there weren’t many guests, so it was hard to judge the noise if the hotel were full. There were a few seedy-looking people coming and going. The hotel feels remote, with no nearby restaurants or convenience stores on Saturday night. I managed to order food through Wolt.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the central location is convenient. Getting there from Hlavna Nadrazi(Main Station) is easy, and it’s an affordable choice for visitors to Ostrava. The room wasn’t perfect, and there were no slippers. There’s a church right next door that rings its bells almost every hour, which could bother some visitors.

They gave us dirty towels, and there weren’t any spoons at breakfast. The breakfast was very poor and not tasty at all. I don’t recommend it.

I was on the fourth floor, in room 414. There’s no elevator, but that was okay. The tap water tasted fine, even by Norwegian standards, and the room and bed sheets were clean. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper, and it’s not too far from the city center. For what I paid, I can’t complain.

I stayed one night and found it a good option for cyclists, since I could keep my bike somewhere safe. The employees were polite and nice, though I had a misunderstanding with one of them because she didn’t know about the laundry service. There’s no lift, even for rooms on the third floor, and no AC for summer stays. Thanks to the morning receptionist, who helped me a lot.
