Sting Old Town Ostrava

The room was spacious, and it could have been one of the best places we've visited, which makes the problems especially frustrating. For the price, I don't think they're acceptable. The jacuzzi water was dirty and left the surface looking green or brown, probably because the jacuzzi walls were dirty too. The shower had no door, so water spread across the bathroom. There also aren't free parking spaces around the hotel. Most nearby spaces seem to be for permit holders, with no way to simply pay and park. The management could have bought permits for guests, so they wouldn't have to worry about parking. The bedroom was hot and stuffy as well. Air conditioning was only in the largest room. The bedroom has one window high up near the ceiling, and opening it with the buttons doesn't bring in much fresh air. A fan was provided, but it isn't air conditioning, and when it's running the room is still hot and stuffy, with the added noise.

The room was very clean and had everything I needed. It was a great stay, with a good spot close to the center.

The apartment felt very luxurious, with plenty of space and a high standard of cleanliness. I slept well on the comfortable bed, and the bathroom was modern and really nice. It also had air conditioning.

Getting into the building and room with a PIN was simple, and the lift made the fifth floor easy to reach. The apartment itself was superb: spotless, with a huge comfortable bed and a little balcony for fresh air. There's a large open kitchen, dining and living space, furnished with new, top-spec equipment, plus a huge quality TV. The walk to the center takes you through one of the nicest parts of town, with plenty of good food and drink right nearby. Parking is easy to access and only a short walk away. Perfect.
