Hotel Sepetná

We've stayed at Sepetna hotel and the "chalupa" many times before without a problem, but after this one-night visit, I don't think we'll return. From the moment we arrived, the receptionists seemed annoyed by everything I said. I'd called that morning to ask if we could add a bed for my son and was assured it was fine. At check-in around 16:00, one receptionist practically yelled that we only had a room for two and angrily said she had no information about my call. The other receptionist joined in, acknowledged the call and said a bed could be added after all. Then we learned we'd have to set it up ourselves, and I had to ask a hotel worker to help open the folding sofa. The room had a leaking WC, a very noisy shower and a broken douche, which made showering unpleasant. The ventilation kept running and made it hard to sleep. Checking out was another ordeal. I wanted to pay with "benefit plus" as I had before at "slunicko", where we were given an invoice and paid it later through work. This time I was sent from one person to another, then told to find Wi-Fi, since the hotel's wasn't working, and send them a payment before I could check out. We were packed and ready but lost a good two hours because the receptionist wouldn't invoice me by email. Maybe that's simply how you do it now, and I could accept that, but the way we were treated left me feeling that nobody cared and we were just a wallet causing trouble. We spent the whole stay trying to avoid reception, hurrying past those three meters whenever we came or went to avoid another conflict. Such a shame.

A huge disappointment. The hotel looks really pretty, but we were planning to book because of the Wellness & Swimming pool, and found it was closed for all of January 2018 for some bizarre reason. Without the spa, it just wasn't worth it. Thumbs down to hotel management!

The setting is nice, but the food seemed off. My partner and I both ended up with stomach aches, so we wondered if old ingredients had been used.

The fresh air and healthy natural surroundings made my stay at Relax Centrum Sepetna feel like paradise. It was peaceful, and the people were lovely. Thank you very much.
