We stopped for lunch and ate by the window, with a lovely view over the Jeseniky and the lake. The servings were so big we struggled to finish them. My wild boar with potatoes was tender and tasted great, and the garlic soup was lovely and hot. There’s a good range of classic Czech dishes, venison, grilled meat and fish. I can’t comment on the rooms, though I saw lots of families staying in the hotel, which looks like a huge cottage. There’s a billiard table in the restaurant, and I noticed a wellness center at the hotel. They even offer fishing 😉 It’s a beautiful place for a holiday or weekend, or just to stop for a meal like we did.

The lake view was gorgeous, and there were free pedal boats to use. We ate well, and the staff were friendly and knew their work. Our room was clean, with lots of wood that gave it an interesting feel. There are plenty of good places to visit in the surrounding area. A really wonderful place.

We liked it so much that we added another night to our stay. The food was delicious and inexpensive for the quality, and even with wet winter weather, the place felt like a little heaven. We had the duplex, with an incredible hot tub built into the floor upstairs. The staff don’t speak much English, but they’re extremely polite. Even with my terrible Czech, I managed to communicate with them effectively. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommended, and we’re going back in spring!

The beer was a highlight, Pilsner Urquell poured to a really high standard. The deer goulash was amazing too, tender meat with a sweet sauce, and the Caesar salad made a nice lighter choice with all the usual ingredients. The garlic soup was strong and full of flavor. I was looking for somewhere nice for dinner, and this more than delivered. The restaurant is gorgeous, spacious and open, with wood, huge tables, and a cozy fireplace. The menu has plenty of tasty options. Next time we’ll stay for the whole weekend instead of just coming for dinner. The place looks amazing.

We went for lunch as a group of friends with kids, and it was great. The food was delicious, and the service was absolutely outstanding. The views are stunning too, a lovely bonus 😍
