The bed linen was the worst part. When I lifted the pillow, the sheet didn’t cover the whole mattress, so part of it was exposed. It felt like I’d be sleeping directly on a mattress where countless guests had rested their heads and hair. Completely unacceptable. I was also alone in the room but found a strange note on the bed telling me to use only one side. If that’s standard and they only change one side afterward, I have serious doubts about how clean the bedding is. You can’t sleep in a double bed without touching the other side at some point. Even arriving was frustrating: reception said I couldn’t keep an open bill and pay everything at checkout, despite already having my card details secured through Booking. It was extremely inconvenient and made a very poor first impression. The room itself was okay.

The restaurant and brewery deserve a 5, but the rooms get a 3 and nighttime comfort only a 1. I stayed three nights and none was peaceful. Every night after 11 p.m. I had to go into the hotel yard to quiet loud, drunk parties. The staff clearly didn’t care. If you stay here, you’d better know the police number.

We came for the Beer spa and enjoyed the clean, comfortable rooms, which were big enough. The hotel restaurant has a good range of food. It’s a nice hotel, and we’ll be back.

The beer and food were good. The hotel is outside the old city.

8/10
The rooms felt a bit short on space for anything beyond sleeping, and I missed having a shower. That may just be my preference, since I like a shower more than a bathtub. The hotel itself was pretty average, though the receptionists were beautiful and there was a great connection to the local brewery.
