The restaurant deserves praise for its great beer and food. As a hotel, though, I wasn’t happy with it. The beds are extremely narrow, and the mattresses are uncomfortable. Breakfast is very meager, especially for a place with its own kitchen. There wasn’t even scrambled eggs or sausages. It’s included in the room price, which isn’t low, so why skimp on food for guests?

We came for lunch and found almost no choice, just four dishes, most deep fried or heavy with cream. We chose beef with knedlíky, and it was so bad I’d rather not remember it: very dry meat, maybe boiled for a long time, covered in a litre of milky dill sauce that drowned everything. I’m pretty sure there are better or more decent restaurants nearby. Sorry we picked this one.

A really nice place, with great homemade meals and lemonades. There’s also a small but lovely playground for kids. The open air forest theatre is nearby and you can visit it.

You can stay on a budget here and eat and drink in the same place. Everything was good, basic but tasty and cheap. Some people might say the restaurant smells of frying. I really enjoyed the place.
