We stayed for one night, thankfully, and it was a terrible experience. Nobody registered us in the accommodation system or saw us arrive or leave. They left the keys in the room and told us over the phone which room was ours. We had to leave the money under the TV and keep the room unlocked. I was really uncomfortable with leaving cash there where anyone could take it. That alone says a lot. There was no kettle in the room, only one shared with other guests, and the fridge was shared too. If I'd known how things were, I'd have brought a sleeping bag. The accommodation was called a guesthouse online, but the sign on the downstairs door said hostel. It didn't feel like a guesthouse at all, more like a hostel. The owner may be running it illegally, since we were never registered. We froze all night with our three-year-old. It was -2 degrees outside, and the heating wasn't working. We called the owner the next day, and he said he didn't know anything about it. Another guest told us the heating was off again. He seemed to stay there more often, so maybe it happens a lot. The owner said he knew nothing about the heating being out, but the other guest's comment made it sound like a recurring problem. Never again. I'm glad it was just one night. Better not to stay here.

We had a cosy apartment, and it was clean, with pleasant, helpful staff. The guesthouse is quiet and very well located near the dam, where you can take long, beautiful walks. Thanks!

It's a nice guesthouse, but our room faced the main road and we could hear the traffic. Workers staying there smoked downstairs under the shed, and the smell drifted all the way upstairs.

We stayed here while visiting Luhačovice, and it was a complete disaster. We were the only guests in the guesthouse for two nights, and the restaurant wasn't operating. The room was cold and damp. The bathroom was well past its best, had no mirror, the tap leaked, and the bathtub was scratched. The breakfast was offered for 60 CZK, but there wasn't much to it. There was a thermos of tea and freshly brewed coffee in a glass, but only enough for two breakfasts. No juice. The first day's food was a small dessert plate with one piece of diet sausage, three slices of ham, two slices of cheese, two wrapped butters and one wrapped processed cheese. Jam or an apple were also available, but nothing was replenished, so there was no jam or fruit by the third day. The pastries were fresh only on the first day. The third morning was the worst. A new person was working there, apparently doing everything from cooking and serving to tending the bar and cleaning. Breakfast was supposed to be ready at 8 am, but at 8:15 there was still only tea on the table. Much later, the person arrived with two rolls and two slices of bread. The plate had one piece of diet sausage, three slices of Vysočina, two slices of cheese, one piece of butter, and nothing else. When we complained about this, the person called the owner and brought us one triangle of cheese, another slice of cheese, and three slices of Vysočina salami. Around ten guests had arrived the night before for the weekend, and they were staring too, wondering what sort of breakfast this was. We made a big mistake paying in advance. I'd warn people away from this guesthouse. They make you pay before your stay, and then seem not to care about you.
